Not that I see.Is there a token for spellweaving?
Will the be advanced character tokens for the new classes ready to be purchased by Sept. 8th?
Specifically: Will warrior be able to choose throwing? Will there be a Mystic token?
Thanks
Since it is required for mysticism spells along with eval int. Those three would have to be in the Mystic token. How about using an advanced character token for imbuing ?
At the VERY least. If they're going to make tokens for the new skills. They should wait at least one year.
I hope there won't be any tokens for the new classes of characters. I see that as a lazy way out.Since it is required for mysticism spells along with eval int. Those three would have to be in the Mystic token.
Using spells would be the only way that I could increase imbuing. I dont have the patience to craft over and over. My cook has the most crafting skill. 85!! My four year old miner is finally at 99 mining!
The world has lost that. Instant gratification is needed in order for most people to keep interest. Welcome to the 21st century.UO has lost that, appreciation and patience.
People who want instant gratification wouldn't like online games then...The world has lost that. Instant gratification is needed in order for most people to keep interest. Welcome to the 21st century.
oO?....................wow thx a lot that this was discussed just in time! i never thought about it could be possible that the tokens are useless for imbuing. its only 6hours ago that me and my guildmates ordered 13 of the tokens. but our luck is one saw this thread and i managed to delete the order in time. so now we wait until its stated if imbuing will be in or not. thx for making this thread.
no but its green and house comes 5oO?....................
thx for clarification! To be able to get the expansion out the door and on time this is one of the things we will have to discuss after launch.
So let me get this straight ... you want a Mystic advanced character token for sale, but you want it to cost more, so that not everyone can afford it, only those with enough RL $$$?I would love to see a mystic set up, but maybe at an increased price. Just now every man and his dog can buy an advanced character. Please raise the prices for these.

Talk about elitist! What next? Increased skill caps at $100 per point? Extra houses per account at $1,000 each? Increased control slots for tamers at $500 a pop?
Why in the hell should something be made available and costs extra just so less people can afford it? I know, how about $200 for the SA expansion .. that way there will be fewer people able to use it?
I thought I'd seen it all on UHall but this beggars belief!
I will say one thing. Way to totally make this guy look greedy. You just took everything he said and exploded it ten times over to prove your point. He didn't give you numbers. Where did you get these numbers? He never said an elitist group should only get it ( he just said everyone can afford them). Now your just spiting out crap. Using the Drama Scare tactic does not work with everyone. You sir need to bring it down. Perhaps Advanced character prices should be raised. Perhaps they should be lower. Thats up to EA/Mythic marketing. I can see you would not be good for EA/Mythic marketing team. Don't go and blow someone else post up to make it look bad. Shesh. So let me get this straight ... you want a Mystic advanced character token for sale, but you want it to cost more, so that not everyone can afford it, only those with enough RL $$$?

Exactly! And what he wants is them made more expensive so that NOT everyone can afford them. Thank you for helping prove my pointhe just said everyone can afford them
*Yawns* Talk about elitist! is what you wanted to fully prove. After you say that you come up with dramatic figures. That is not elitist. So if thats the only point you were proving then you just wrote abuncha trash to try to sound important.Exactly! And what he wants is them made more expensive so that NOT everyone can afford them. Thank you for helping prove my point![]()
I know I am.and you are important.
Well then it's a good thing no one is telling anyone what to do here since this thread is basically opinion on something that isn't even out (tokens for the new skills). No one has any right to tell anyone they should play single player games. You can play UO single player as well. None of you have any right to tell anyone they cannot purchase a game code. No one has any right to say what should and should not be able to be purchased by a buyer. It is not your account, it is not your characters it is EAs. If the player can buy 80 points of skill on the launch then thats their choice not yours. It doesn't affect you so get over it.
In closing no one should tell anyone what and what not to do. Or what to say and what not to say. So I guess I cannot say no one one has the right to tell someone how to do something.
The end. Both sides are wrong and right.
All I ask is that you all stop trying to dictate how each other play. Go live in a dictatorship because obviously thats what most of you want.
(Again I was just asking you to do both of these things now that you have to.)
Thanks for the advice, but I wont take it. The token would not give me instant gratification. The skills on the tokens are 70 - 85.People who want instant gratification wouldn't like online games then...
People who want everything with no work should stick to single player games.
Wasn't really meaning to refer to the people who use skill tokens in that post...Thanks for the advice, but I wont take it. The token would not give me instant gratification. The skills on the tokens are 70 - 85.
There will be people who have that much in the new skills in a few days or less. After 4 years, my highest crafter is 86.
My best warrior can not kill a greater dragon. My best tamer cant kill one or tame one.
I started UO in Oct 1997. I have put in many many hours of "work" I would like to have a gargoyle that can kill things higher than mongbats.
It will probably be a year before I can fight my way through most of the new areas. Ill never see medusa. I have never been good enough to fight a peerless.
Please dont count me in the category of "instant gratification". Mark me as someone who really sucks at UO. I also suck at single player games.
Mythic is losing out on a cash cow.
