Adding to locked down ingots no longer allowed?

I just noticed tonight that trying to add new ingots from my pack to ones that are locked down for display will not combine,but instead will fall at my feet. What's the deal? Lumber,ore and other stackables do not behave the same way. What am I missing?

Wouldn't I have 'top security clearance' no matter the settings because it is my own place?

I would check the amount of ignots. Does the combined total exceed 60,000?

It's a random bug.. happens to cloth, ingots and wood piles... though i did have it happen to food stuff that stacks too. Seems to clear up on its own after a time... not sure what triggers it or its clearing. I have at times opened the house sign to check the storage limit and then been able to drop it on the selected piles and have it go just fine.
