Adding healing to my Ninja template, talisman question

AT the moment, here's my current template:

Chivalry
Fencing
Tactics
Stealth
Hiding
Ninjitsu
Herding

Herding is a blast, but it's not going to help me much for average hunting, or keeping myself alive. I'll still use it constantly, but when I hunt, I need to be at full strength.

I'm also finding I tend to stay in Animal form when hunting, so I can't actually use the chivalry for anything but healing, and even then only between battles. It would be a lot nicer to be able to heal without changing. I may switch herding over to another character. As fun and profitable as it is, it's not too helpful to me guildmates in the middle of a battle.

Am I correct in thinking that healing with bandages works in animal form? I'd also like to utilize the Cu form (I already have the talisman). A couple of questions: is the healing by cu affected by healing skill, and do you have to keep bandages in your pack? (I assume it's yes to the bandage question). I'm thinking of dropping chivalry and transferring herding to another character, and adding healing and anatomy. I'm using a ring to bring me to over 100 ninjitsu, since training it is taking forever.

I know when I used CuShide I would only got minimal heals with it. I am finding that just being in Bake form and use healing it working out much better with Healing and Anatomy.

So far, my experimentation seems to agree with this. Cu seems like a good idea, but it heals too soon, wastes bandaids, and I haven't gained any skill, so it's not doing a skill check.
Good fora non-healing character, maybe?

Its to slow to do any fighting though, and you heal faster when in dog/cat form anyways. I think the perks of bake/wolf are better with some healing.
