Is there a page where i could find all active shards and if there is housing available on the active shard

Atlantic is by far the most active (populous) shard. For the American Shards - Next is probably a near tie with Great Lakes, Lake Superior and Pacific. Housing should be available on all shards. For Atlantic - you can find max-storage plots available occasionally in Felucca and smaller plots regularly in Trammel, Malas, Tokuno, and Ter-Mur.

You forgot Chesy. Chesy is active there is right now good pvp and there are folks on all the time. Housing is still around if you know where to look too.
