What is this thing? Was from one of the goblin quests that you can only do once (I believe). Dont want to use it until I know what it is or does.

you need 2 of them to melt the vines so you can get the keys to fight tybalt to enter the abyss

Those were the acid sacks, this is an acid popper. When double clicked, it gives a target but I dont want to use it in case it's a one time thing.
