Accounts went inactive last night; Account site still down.

I thought they weren't going to be turning anyone's accounts off until the account system was back up properly. 2 of my accounts went inactive last night, and I'm unable to reactivate them because ultima-registration site is down.
On top of that, [email protected] is bouncing my emails back... they're not going through.

Same problem for me, got that email about not having billing info or whatever, now my account is blocked.


Whatever, prolly time i gave this game up anyways. More of a hassle than fun anymore (not just the billing system bs)

I found out that you have to go to the Account Management tab on uoherald.com to get into the new account system, which is why I thought it was down because I was trying to get to it by going to ultima-registration.com (which doesn't work)....

My account exists since almost 14 years. Suddenly they fiddle with their software and my account lost its billing information and is now blocked.. hello?! What company does voluntarily cut off their source of money?

My credit card has been charged on Aug 13th, today is the 23rd and my account is blocked because you have no billing info??

I suppose that's it for me. Not worth the hassle..

Cala, have you been able to log into the new Account Center yet and link your UO Account to your EA Account? If yes, what does the Account Center show about the status of your account and did you do anything in the new Account Center before last night to update/confirm your credit card info for your UO account?

I've got an as-yet-unproved theory that perhaps some credit card billings happened last week and the week before based on info stored in the old system, but that payment information may not have been completely carried over to the new system yet and may be why some accounts in the new system are showing 14-day-gametime info (the Account Center system is pretty sure you paid under the old system) and others are showing blocked and you can't log in (the Account Center system can't verify yet that you paid under the old system further into the migration process, especially if you haven't yet logged into the new Account Center and linked your UO account to your EA Account).

Before you completely panic, perhaps try contacting Customer Support by opening a ticket at support.ea.com (log in with your new EA Account login and password).

All my accounts are blocked for non payment, some say Credit card declined some say lack of billing info. I checked my card no charges were attempted so the decline thing is bogus. I thought it was a hack spam email, until I logged in to account management and its not letting me in because I do not have a Mythic Master account. WTF?? :cursing:

But could very well >enter< a non-productive state BY following your suggestion to LOGIN and start a trouble ticket ... account name?
Did you mean Persona? Master persona? EA or Mythic?

That's where I'm a bit confused.

I can access the account management page just fine. I bookmarked it when it first came back online under the new system and that bookmark takes me there no problems.

So why is it that some people can't get to it?

People are still using the old, now defunct, link, and that page doesn't go anywhere.
If you all use this page https://accounts.eamythic.com/ you wont have any problems getting to, and updating, your accounts. They still have your CC info on file you just need to activate it.
I don't know why they just didn't make our usual link re-route to the new page. It would have been a good idea and saved some people a hell of a lot of trouble. I had to be sent the new link myself.

But I can access it just fine from the UOHerald main page...from the links on the left side..Account Management..new/edit account...works just peachy for me...I even cleared my cache deleted history and all that, closed out my browser, reopened it and I was able to access the account management page right off the main site...

I'm still confused lol *scratches head* Why is this such an issue for some people? I mean even when I just mouse over the new/edit account link, it says right at the bottom of the browser window https://accounts.eamythic.com so I KNOW it's directing the link to the correct place...

A lot of us can't. Myself included. I tried three different browsers. If it wasn't for someone sending me the link that's in my previous post, my two favorite accounts would still be down.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out.

IF that link works for me...it tells me that it's NOT a broken/dead/defunct link..if it works for me...

I don't have to use any other link, I access my acct page same as always.


I'm just trying to figure this out so that the people on the other end can look into it.

I go to UOHerald, click on Acct. Management, new/edit account and it brings me right to it...so yet another thing that seems to be borked?? (I love that word lol)

It seems to be working now.
It wasn't last night. It would take me to a "page cannot be displayed" type of page in IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
I just tried it this afternoon and it is now working for me, so maybe they've changed it since yesterday.

I did mine yesterday. You hit the link on the UO page for accounts, then you edit account and it takes you to an EA website with War Hammer.

So, I tried to create an EA account but I already had one on that email, so, I requested the password and then if you read down underneath there, it tells you, you can use your email address. Then you put in your password.

So, I created the EA account and I had a persona name on it. This is really what the master account is that you can link the other accounts to. So, if you got this far, you're in the right spot but when you read across the tabs, it says Billing and there's a few other tabs. Well, there was a tab missing so I couldn't get any further.

I was using Fire Fox and switched to Internet Explorer just to see if I was missing something so I had to put my email, password, got into my persona account with EA and with Internet Explorer, there was another tab.

This is the most important tab, if you don't see it you can't do it. So, you click the link accounts and you should see a list of your accounts. Then there's an empty box where you put your password in.

So, all you need to know is your password for that account, just like if you were logging in. Then, if it takes the password it says successful, then you hit continue and it puts that account into the EA account. Now you use the drop down tab to change into any of the ones you were successful with. I have a couple that I forgot the passwords for.

So, then you can go into Billing and activate that account. So, it worked for me but if you don't see that link accounts tab and if you go in that link and there's no accounts listed, I don't know what to tell ya.

I was surprised that Internet Explorer beat out Fire Fox, in this case, for me.
