Ok, I know that ordinarily this post wouldn't go here, but I'm making it fit (kinda like a soggy puzzle piece)

Since EA decided to change their account stuff, I can't find where my registered games are to edit them. Now, I've had trouble with EA before (only about... well, every time I've tried to do something!) so this isn't new, but I can't find it. Did TSO become free while I wasn't paying attention, or am I paying for something that I can't change to edit the payment methods?

I don't understand this. Because so help me if I'm paying for it and can't EASILY change the details consider me more than gone from this game. And it's on the border right now, I'm already giving them the benefit of the doubt

And to make this a legitimate post, what kind of other little tricks does EA have up their sleeves concerning accounts and information? I'd like to know if this is going to be even more of a problem in the future...

So while I try to get help, discuss that, or discuss how difficult with accounts has affected your gameplay. I don't care, but just to make everyone (with significance placed on the mods) happy, it's a mulitpurpose thread.

Over the summer ea.com changed everything to where I could't find my account at all and I started using www.thesimsonline.com to get to my account information. However, now I can't even access my account info from thesimsonline.com website because it no longer exists!

Yeah, I typed it in earlier and it sent me to the deleted page too

lol, it's fine if you want to delete it. Or I guess it can stay in case others have difficulty getting to the TSO website. I don't know why it didn't work when I typed it in earlier, and the account login thing from the other EA web sites doesn't display the game stuff for you to update your information, or even register/delete games (which could be a problem for new players).

I really don't want to make a whole new thread about this, so I'm going to post it here because it semi-fits in. Anyhow, when you're given the $500 cash bonus for being a subscriber, does that spread out between all of your sims on that account, or does each sim get rewarded $500?

It has only been given to my main sim.

If you think about it, it would not be fair for someone with 6 sims on an account in TC3 to recieve §3000, and someone with only one sim on their account, to recieve §500......it seems to be based on paid accounts not sims.

Maybe I understood wrong. I thought the $500 was supposed to be spread out over each sim on the account. For instances, you have 5 sims in tc3, they each get $100. Thats what I thought the $500 per account was for.

I'm fairly sure that's how it works. I noticed that on a second sim, I had an offline message stating I received $500 two different times, yet only had a little less than $200 on my sim. It's most definitely a fair approach, but I wasn't sure what the official method was.

They probably didn't tell us how it is supposed to work so we can't complain if it's all buggy. Only my oldest sim on my account gets the bonus. It is not spread out over all sims on that account. Talked to a guy yesterday that has yet to receive any bonus at all. So maybe somebody got his bonus too
