account management? up or down?

I just tried to re-activate my account.

It only went off earlier today, the cash is there, but it wasn't when EA did the pre-fetch. I've entered all the details, it goes as far as 'processing the transaction' then says it can't.

Is it me? or is it them? is something wrong? or do I just wait a few hours and re-try?

It accepts all the info, I've double checked the bank. I'm a bit confused atm.

It worked for me, earlier, to can an account.

Is it giving an error in particular, or just a generic "no can do"?

it accepts all the info I put in and goes to 'processing the transaction' then says 'Error! We're sorry, we were unable to processes your billing information at this time. Please try again.' :(

This has been happening to me for over a week now when I try to reactivate an old account.

Can anyone shed any light? Had this message before?
Would the fact that I re-activated a different account on the same card yesterday have any bearing?

I have a sort of same problem... My account was block cause of billing. It been 2 weeks and funds are there and nothing as of yet.. I updated like 3 different cards. I email them and they told me that there system sent a request on the july 8. I know duh! that when it was close but am talking about now. Update your system I tell them and charge it. Or does the system does it on it own and do I have to wait until next billing.*sigh* when the system does it?

have you used the 'reactivate account' link on the subscription menu? You need to do that, it won't do it automatically.

oki, now I'm in mega bother with my husband because although it said it hadn't gone through, when he's just checked our bank the money has been taken. The account still isn't active. I don't know where I go from here :(

UO players can't help you with account management issues.

Have you tried calling EA support?

Have you tried emailing the wonderful community coordinator?

Have you accepted reality? You're up $%& creek without a paddle until it decides to work on its own.

no :( phone EA support from England isn't something I really want to do. Our wonderful community co-ordinator is out of the office on her way to the town hall meet and yes, I realise I'm probably not going to see my chars again for some time :(

I guess I'll see if I can manage to do anything on Monday.
