Account Management?? Olde dead email accounts???

so i have 3 proper accounts..all 3 have different emails from long lost internet providers ???ie the email account dont exsist anymore.... so there is no way of recieving a ''return email'' even though i can remember the email address name- i still cant access it from my new latest internet provider...i know the uo account names which i all i ever needed with the old system...only one is active/paid for at the moment.

and there was no point changing emails because thats the main reason people get hacked....????using the same email account with uo as the same email account they use regular for everything else.....very nasty....

along with the 3 main accounts ive probably got around 100 otheres mainly free trails and free 30 dayers from uo boxes i bought from carboot sales etc etc for a $1 or $2 ...thses all have mixed emails although i do know most of the uo account names

hows this going to work with the new account management??????were do i start....the one paid for account that as an old email address ....that cant be accessed??? yet its got billing info. stuck to it for last 10 years and i have never had a problem with it

I think BahamaMama found a method that would help with some of that. She posted here:

she created a new email. She logged in her uo account name (that's the bottom right slot, normal user name plus _uo, normal password) She then associated that account with the new email address.

STILL think it would be very very BAD practice using the same email account for UO as the one u would use all the time...pretty sure they Always told u never to do this for safe security reasons.....

If you have multiple UO accounts and decide to go or stick with the route of associating them with different e-mail addresses, just beware of two things before you plunge in: (1) some vague language in the Terms of Service seems to imply you can be banned for having multiple EA Accounts (other sections seem to imply it's just fine however); (2) some people have been IP banned or blocked from using the Account Management site after logging in with a second or subsequent EA Account's information.

I've had a request submitted to Customer Support for a couple of days now because of being unable to associate more than nine accounts with one e-mail address and included questions about these two issues in my support request in anticipation that any tier 1 CS person that got the request might just bounce back with that as a suggestion. So far, my request has made it to two tier 3 people and neither of them has suggested that I make an additional one or two EA Accounts nor have they addressed those two issues. So take that for whatever it's worth. I think some people have had a CS person suggest setting up another EA Account, but I'm very leery of it at this point, especially after reading about people being IP blocked from using the Account Management site, seemingly because they had more than one EA Account.

I know it's a security risk tying all those accounts together and isn't necessarily the way I want to proceed either. But the alternative at this point (being banned or blocked) doesn't look very good at all.

yes, I'd settle for just sorting out the 3 main accounts for now. The others can probably wait till some things are more resolved.

Though I *think* the reason for the ip block was caused by logging in and out with multiple emails within a short time period.
