Account Management - Migrating an Old Account

I have a few IRL friends that have been watching the info on the planned expansion and are interested in coming back.

They had left during the KR expansion. They used to go to UO.com and login just using a plain username and password.

They have an EA account.

When they try to log into account management it says that the account has been linked to an EA account. It will not let them log in.

When they log into the EA account no link appears.

We have read the guide to account upgrade/migration and there is nothing there that appears to help in solving this problem.

Does anyone have a link I can send them that might assist with this issue?

There was supposed to be a new account management system released "mid May" but we not had any more info. Might be worth emailing Mesanna or Broadsword for help.
