I'm having problems with it as well. East coast here.
I hope its having issues as I just tried after seeing this post and then after a few seconds it tells me my username and password is incorrect.....!!!
UPDATE: Same thing with my other accounts. Login, sit waiting then the red box shows telling me incorrect user/pass.

that's what was happening to me too Djad. something about if i recently joined star wars that was my new password. I have not...so I'm assuming it's broken.
