Account age issue...

I could not track down my first account from the old days so I started a new one via 14 day trial. I ended up finding an old account I made in 2003 but never played on and started it up on the 14 day trial for vet item usage...my new account shows it being 2 months old, this old one I found says cannot determine accounts age. What I am wondering is if this account is going to ever show as being 8 years old or not. Just hoping for the vet item usage more than anything else...thanks in advance.

Account age is somewhat tricky. Basicly only active time is count towards it and not the date of creation. (Thought there is a time stamp for very old accounts. Before that date account age is based on creation date but continues after that date only by active time/beeing paid for.)
Additionally there are sometimes problems with the first 30 free days on bought new account codes. sometimes they count for account age and sometimes dont. I haven been able to track when it counts and when not. It seems to differ from time to time. Not to mention, that the calculation of age and the display of it sometimes are very fishy like my oldest character usually shows 1 month younger than my 3#rd oldest, charcaters on eon account dont always showing the same account age etc.

FOr the old account, if you remember the account name, and you can come up with the old CC info, or the install CDs with their code, you might be able to get the accounts back by contacting customer support. IT seems to vary from attempt to attempt, though.

Well im still waiting for a account age to show up and this old blank one I found, im hoping for it to work out. I want my old account but at the same time I dont want it, I like starting fresh but I want my vet rewards, lol.

I watched another thing, maybe someone can clarify. I have two characters. One of them is nearby as old as the game, the other one is about 2 yrs now. When I log on to them (they are on the same account) One shows my account being a month older than the other character.
So the age seems character bound to me what is somewhat weird.

Well the account that was not showing an age is now 2 months old even though it was created in 2003...no vet rewards for me.

Since about a year after vet rewards for account age was introduced, it was made to where only paid active months count, not the year the account was made.

So, a 2003 account that never got played or paid since its first month in 2003 would show the minimum 2-3 months.
