breaking line of site through invis does not work.
feeding pet does not work.
saying all stop does not work.
dying does work.

How have you tamers stopped them (if you could) before dying?

Happened to me also, did not know what to do..just died..lol (could not invisi since deadly poisoned by pet also)...

Generally all stop and invis works... but you can't be poisoned or bleeding or any of that ... when those things "tick" your pet will remember he attacked you and go back at it...

I've had no problem stopping my pet and now that they can barely scratch you you have more time to get them to stop.

Might try "all stop" "all stay" move away and invis.

also tab in an out of war mode. All stay/All Stop - Invis - toggle in and out of war mode so you (dont) auto punch it when it gets close.

This happens to me all the time and seems linked with my cast - target self macros... sometimes there is like a lag or something afterwards that doesnt clear out the target self.

Stay in Tram ruleset and not guilded does 0 damage. Not sure if all stop all stay would work since I take the easy road.

If you use EC, and Pinco's UI, there's an option to prevent attack on pets and guildmates.

Don't use EC(for hunting) whitehead though I'll give it a try to see ... Sorry flamehead, don't care for limits... I'll make a nice macro to spew words and invis and tab tab... thanks!

Good evening, if your pet is one that has a damage over time , like bleed, poison, etc.. even though ya said all stop and invised the damage tics will often put you back in combat until their duration has ended or the effects have been removed .. So watch for that too.. hope this helps.. =^-^=
