You can't find anything because only 3 per shard have spawned thus far.

actually, we've found that there are actually 2 spawn points, so twice as many as was first thought. I was lucky enough to get some on Europa yesterday, which I've made into a bookcase for my house.

A scripter! hehe, far from it. I got home from grocery shopping about lunch time to find an icq from a friend telling me the books were there. The message was timed 3 hours before! I was sure I was on a fool's errand and they were long gone, but I logged in and went to look anyway. To my total amazement the books were still there and I nabbed them.

They are a level 8 rarity item which are used by a carpenter to create a full bookcase.

You can see the bookcase here, in the picture I took for someone who wanted to see the slime hunter title displayed.

yes except they will say Academic books

Well since they went in like 4 maybe 6 have spawned on each shard, so they wont be likely to be on many vendors.

Just saying "Bedlam" is fine by me. A little scouting won´t hurt anyone. But I guess one is in the north spot and the other in the south spot of that area...

Actually what I remember hearing was in the left side building in the main area of Bedlam (the one that has the quest NPC asking for the bridle). Not sure where in there tho (if i'm remembering right).

what would be cool if these dang books spawn in NORMAL city libraries!
