Damn! Why couldn`t it wait till the 12th!? I`m just kidding,although it sux waiting for it to finish.....on 56k connecting at a whopping 28.800 kbps.....I am utterly STOKED at the upcomming 12th.

I have suffered for 10+ years playing UO and DAoC and back to UO trudging along on 56k. July 12th i am FINALLY getting cable internet thru Charter.

I CAN NOT FREEKIN WAIT!!

Sorry to post such meaningless dribble to some,but hey I`m bored and have a good hour left of patch time before I can log in.

You`ll find me in places I`ve never been able to hang out in,like Doom,live event area`s where lots of peaple gather.I`ll be sooooooo happy to finally feel included in all things gamming.I`ve always felt like I could only play half the game,didn`t matter if it was UO or DAoC.Anything PvP or large gatherings I just couldn`t do.

My gamming addiction is going to get a huge shot in the arm,I`ll apologize now for any n00b questions I am sure I will have once I start exploring places and doing things I`ve only heard about.

About two years ago we finally got the option for DSL.

Trust me on this...it's a completely different game when you can move as fast as the server allows.

Last patch caused some trouble for me . Seems to be patch related. I noticed that today my Summoned Fey Spell does not target my Pixies first as it had in the past. Now they attack me as the main target. Use to pets were the 1st target. Am I the only one noticing this? I am on Origin.

A little more testing shows it is not tamed pets but summoned pets that are not being targeted. My tamer's pet works like it always has. But the mage and spell weaver are getting smoked being the primairy target in high spawn areas.

lol, i can only tell you I am playing this game for 10 years now on the slowest possible internet connection available in my country and on a computer that was bougth when I started to play the game (well, I upgraded in 2001 to a voodoo 5500 ). I am pinging 250 to my home shard Europa - which is the lowest ping I can get to any shard - and have at least 25% package loss. I cannot outrun a slime (mounted, me - not the slime).

About 3 weeks ago my computer crashed, I had to reinstall everything and since I had vendors to take care of I went to my girlfriends place and installed UO on her new computer and used her broadband connection.
OMG, how I wish I had not!!!

Before this, I thought why is everybody complaining bout speedhacking, since they all are doing it (joke)? The real speedhackers were prolly too fast for me to see them at all.

Now I am back to my old connection and old comp and it is just terrible now (before this I just did not know the difference)!

Problem is I literally live in the woods and the only internet connection available is through the mobile phone net....
