About to break?

I have a question about "Brittle" and "Cannot Be Repaired" items. I know a lot of people don't want them, but I use cursed, brittle and CBR items on most of my characters, and have only lost one item since the Shame loot started. I have two items on my dungeon thief that I use every day that are down to almost zero durability, and they can't be repaired. These two items have lasted almost a full year, so I am happy with that.

My question is, will they break when they reach zero durability, or do I have another 150 durability left on each?

If they work like everything else with durability, you still have another 150.

sure they will last long on a thief, but I wouldnt say the same on a pvm warrior or simply any char that pvp, it would last 1 month maximum.

I use the same on my tamer, mystic-mage, archer and two resource gatherers. I use cursed items on my sampire that can be repaired. Most of the items have 2 or 3 backups if they break or get lost. These items are CHEAP and easy to replace. So if they only last a month or two, I'm not too concerned - I am pretty sure that I am getting my gold's worth out of them!

I see no reason, why these should behave different than any other item. CBR & brittle is just another property on to of the rest. Besides, you can't repair them anyway, so you can't do anything about it. Keep playing and find out :p
But I'm pretty sure, as soon as they reach zero durabilty, the max. durability will decrease...
