About all the new arties...

Okay.. this might look like a little rant at first... but is actually a kind of suggestion...

All these new arties are Awesome(a lot are/could be very usefull !!) and such, but to be honest, gargoyles suck mayor ass at everything except Imbuing, which will make these new arties useless like hell !
So I'd suggest putting in a "convert to human" option in the blacksmith / taloring etc menue....
But thats just my opinion

Yes. I love you. Or they could make gargoyles not suck so much... or both... then i wouldn't be afraid to actually make a gargoyle...

Gargoyles are fine as is. i know we are all used to our leet suits and weapons but adapt its all that is needed find a crafter to work with ask him for what you want get him what he needs to make it!!! is this not what ccrafters have been asking for ?? thye can make you what ever you want it will just take time and effort !

It's not the suits that's the problem with gargoyles it's the fact that they just suck. Their ranged skill is absolutely horrible compared to archery. They can't use mounts, and moving at mounted speed drains stamina like a mother. Their racial bonuses (other than the imbuing bonus) are just bad.


Although thinking about it, suits are a problem even with imbuing. 45 DCI is the max you can get without a shield, and that's only if you have 15% on your weapon, which is 100% (more after weighted?) intensity that you need on another property. So if you choose not to use a weapon with DCI, and you have bushido, you're capped at 30 DCI? I mean, seriously? You can get double that with no weapon or shield as a human/elf (faction Folded Steel + quiver + ring + bracelet). That's just one example.


Now that gargoyles have gargoyle necklaces and gargoyle earrings as armor items, you should be able to alter current head and neck pieces into earrings and necklaces. All existing items (even artifacts) into a matching piece even. (Gloves -> kilt doesn't make a ton of sense, but eh)

Did you even read the posts? We're not complaining about "Uber suits" we're talking about the gargoyles not getting anything that makes you want to use it over a human or elf BESIDES the artifacts! I mean if you're not going to read the post, why bother posting? Your entire post is completely irrelivant to what is being discussed. Getting good armor for gargoyles Resist wise, ect, Is EASY. It's the utility mods from jewelery and artifacts that are the problem! Try crafting 20dci on leggings, or 15 dex on a garg neckless, or 30hld on garg earings. Come back when you succeed.
