[Archery] ABC Template - +20 stat scroll enough for awhile?

I am not rich in UO, fyi...

+25 stat scroll = 4 to 4.5 million gp
+20 stat scroll = 500k to 650k gp

I can afford a +20 but not a +25. How much am I really losing out on by sticking with a +20 for awhile, at least until I can afford a +25? And it may be awhile, depending on my luck at the Gauntlet :gun:

+20 is fine. You probably wont even notice much or any difference between a +20 and +25 scroll.

That would depend on what kind of PvM you do. For the very high end, having that +25 is pretty much a must have at some point, although you can squeak by with a +20 for a while. There has been more than one time that I've stayed alive ONLY because I had 1 or 2 HP's left, HP's I wouldn't have had if I'd only gone with a +20. I'd never suggest sticking with a +15 for ANY character, PvM OR PvP. The 10 stat points you'd be missing with a +15 would seriously hinder the effectiveness of any Archer that uses both Chiv and Bushido. The templates are just too mana intensive. The nerf to Mana Leech on bows hit the Archer hard in the mana department, and anything you can do to get extra mana goes a long way.

To the OP-

Since no one has said anything yet, I'd suggest you put the points into Dex and Int, and waiting until you get the +25 to get the extra 5 into Str. Dex and Int (specifically for mana) are more important to an Archer than the extra HP's.

125 Dex is the base cap without items, with it capping at 150 with items.

Could be 120 dex (with items), if all your bows have minimum 30ssi. And if you have at least 20 stamina increase on equipment.

You can also use pots to get your dex to the cap. If you use greater str and greater agl pots, then you can afford more points for INT.
