<font color=00008B>From Leprechauns to Bunnies the week was a whirlwind of fun!

Citizens tired of their long winter habitation ventured out on Monday March 17th to enjoy fine ales and toasts to commemorate St Paddy’s Day along with the frolicking mischief which the leprechauns seem to plan with such delight.

After a few pitchers of ale we were ready to begin the ‘Drunken Leprechaun Footrace’ starting from the Hansel Hostel the racers goal was to follow the rocky water barrel track which included a turn around at the Adobe Plaza Vendor House.

Considering how many bottles and pitchers of ale were consumed prior to the start of the footrace it was no surprise to see the participants falling off the ‘track’ ...

and some even needed a rest or was it more they needed a fresh one ….

After the race, the festive partiers headed to the pixie forest located near Maggie’s Marketplace and discovered that the Leprechauns had left bags behind each with an item

… then we heard a yell of excitement, as the one million in gold was found…

On Tuesday March 18th the Knights of the Mystic Realm held their annual crafters faire and 8th Birthday Celebration at the Blacksmiths guild hall in Brit. It turned out to be another wonderful night of games and surprises while volunteers served the guests with free crafter services.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Knights of the Mystic Realm ... we sang and partied until we used up our last tool.

Wednesday, March 19th was the first night of aMAZE’n fun. Located at the Royal Britannian Guild training ground players gathered to compete with each other and fight off the many dangers located inside the maze (which is a very special created location for our shard) … *snapshots in no particular order of Survivor Series Events

Who would survive in the survivor series?

They kept trying ...

folks kept healing ...

and curing ...

and cheering the players on ...

and wondered if anyone would figure the end part of the maze out ...

and of course they did .. and they were alive to continue on ...

in the end we all wanted to say THANK YOU TO OUR EM'S FOR PUTTING TOGETHER THIS WONDERFUL CHALLENGE BEFORE THEY LEFT US ... BECAUSE OF NO CONTRACT RENEWAL

The second night, Thursday March 20th, was for team efforts and the first three team leaders who completed the course live won gold ...

and the 4th and 5th place teams won special prizes donated by Vyrquenox for their tenacity and stubbornness to cross the finish line …

On Friday March 21st the last night of the 3 day survivor series Guilds were to try their best to get across the line in a certain amount of time ….

Over the course of the weeks events Spring had sprung ...

Saturday March 22nd was dedicated to celebrating it with the annual Bunny Bashing and Cow Tipping Jamboree ….

More than 2000 donated thorns were let loose on the fields in Glow ...

and Jhelom along with other special items for the participants to carry home.

What a fine day it turned out to be for a picnic at our new park in Yew with the annual egg hunt, ....

although not many 'eggs' were found, ...

over 700 items were dropped to help ...

fill everyone’s empty spring baskets….

From start to finish ….

Without the help of many players and guilds the Spring Fling 2008 events would not have come to fruition. We wish to recognize a few of the Sonoma Community Coalition Friends for their special contribution…
