A Wee But important (for me) Complaint

Heya guys. i really welcomed and applueded ea when they made the veteran reward dresses was a really nice move! /applaud

however you made the same mistake again, (i know i am quite slow since even was in autoum but i kept quiet with it till now, and im really sorry if this is a repeat of a similar complaint from someone else)

but Conjurer's Garb is a ROBE, it kinda set the new standard, socalled "best in slot" which previously was the reward robes, i did mention this suggestion before in this thread in november: http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=162163

but make other rare robes exchangeable to dresses and other way around, including but not neseserelly exclusive to: Conjurer's Garb, Shroud of the Condamned and Luck Robes

that is my suggestion :)

Greeting

It's nice to have mods on robes, but on other hand I'm bit bummed.

Everyone looks the same nowdays cause you gotta have that robe on.

i fully agree, also females look really bulky in a robe imo, i prefer a plain dress style any day of the week for females :)

Men and women both look bulky in robes. But men and women both look shapely and voluptuous in dresses!

Seriously, have you ever seen a male character cross-dress in the Legacy client? Those hips! Good god!

...carry on.

well obviously i didnt mean for the guys to wear a dress, although ofc if you prefer noone can stop you :)

and yes robes is bulky for either, but guys wear a robe way better as a female, am still ofc only speaking my own opinion :)

a third option in same slot could also be an idea, am open for any ideas, as long as my female chars dont have to wear robes to get the garb stats :)

EDIT: not back slot in my opinion, different slot, for stat stuff should stick with the slot its intended originally for only ^^

I really like the new mods available on items for the robe, cloak, belt, sash, and talisman slots. I would not want to get rid of those items. But I also agree with you that everyone looks the same. It would be nice if there was a turn-in system to let you make your conjurer's garb a surcoat version (for example) or an equivalent item of the same slot. Crimsom Cincture's could be an obi or a full apron instead of a half-apron. Of course then they would have to figure out how to handle the blessed vs non-bless item exchange. It would suck to turn in a blessed Conjurer's Garb robe and get a non-bless Conjurer's Garb surcoat in return. But I am sure that is doable. An exchange system would be great.

Or... and this is my preference, I like the Tokuno Treasures system where you collect items and turn them in for an item of your choice. The choice is key as it allows you to get what you really need. You could use this system to turn in an item for an equivalent where you pick the style.

It would be even nicer to be able to craft or imbue cloth items with low level intensity mods.

Not to dis the vet rewards, but really.

How bout new cloth rewards for BoDs, or rewards that would place very low intensity mods on cloth pieces, or accessory garment pieces (woodland belt).

We are opening up the system, which is good, but we are opening it up veeery sloooooowly.

*Oh, while looking at the cloth bod system could we please have sandals that match every single color of cloth reward, please?*

i would like to emphasise that i think its a bad idea to be able to exchange say a grab for a cloak, which pose the same problem like we trying to avoid being "best in slot" and everyone wearing cloaks.

my idea is only to exchange it to something of the excact same slot like it was intended originally, in grab's case the robe slot.

Clothing should be able to be set into "invisible mode" so your robe wasnt visible if you didnt want to, or your crimson etc... Any clothing really.

being able to convert robes to dresses ``somehow`` is a good idea.It also seems like this shouldn't be that hard of a task for the devs [i could be wrong but it `sounds` easy] to implement.
The idea gets the thumbs up from me.[not that i`d use it personally but it sounds like there is a dmand/desire for this]

It would be nice if artefact armours were fully convertible (not just to dingbat-only), say a rune beetle carapace into a plate tunic, with properties preserved. Clothing, too, would be good.

I wish that we could do that too.. get away from the UGLY robes.....

Of course a nice new robe design would be nice too..

And while we are on it... I'd like to be able to change my UGLY hat back into the nice circlet I once had..... *sighs*....
