I think the problem of such an event is that it's all about me me me.
If they could find a way to reduce the the amount of minor arties and rotate the colour of the dyes so that they don't over-flood the market, I think turning it on permanently can only be a better experience for everyone whose play time is limited.
I don't want to spend 2-5 mil in a few month's time on a piece of equipment that I can get now. But the dilemma I face is that I'm almost forced to find time around my real life schedule if I want to achieve this. I have already missed the first 2 ToT's, the past few Halloween events, the invasion and the slime event due to real life, so I'm glad that ToT3 is here, but I really wish they could make it more casual player friendly, i.e. instead of saying, "ok, June-July, camp Tokuno whenever I get to turn my computer on", perhaps make it so that every time you venture into the lands of Tokuno there's a small small small chance (1/500 from a Succubus or something like that) that you could be rewarded?
Anyway, if they put in more of these time limited events, I'd rather they made it so that the goal is for everyone to work towards something common, instead of a brag-fest of who gets to collect more turn-ins. An idea is the inter-shard competitions similar to those that were held over at the Japanese shards. Might need to break the North American shards down to different tiers based on population though. Otherwise, thanks but no thanks, no more temp events like this please. Just leave everything to the EM's.
Just something totally unrelated... My conspiracy theory is that ToT3 is put in place to make people open up those closed accounts, go on a farming frenzy, and when SA hits, bam, everyone's too addicted to quit. But then that's just me.
