Over 5.5 million. Let's say that again. Five point five million dollars. That's how much we as gamers raised this year for Extra Life.
This was to benefit Children's Miracle Network hospitals who never turn a child away because they cannot pay.
Thank you so much for your donations. Because of you, we here at Stratics raised $416. Our "team" includes you. Even if all you did to participate was hop on and watch us stream for a little while. We at Stratics couldn't have done it without you.
Let's face it, there aren't a lot of charities looking for gamers. We don't have the reputation of "getting together and helping out". This was our chance to give back and we grabbed the opportunity and followed through.
We have proven once again that gamers are more than our Jolly Rodger nicknames. Thank you all for giving Stratics the chance to prove it!
Thank you to the staff who participated, the folks who came to watch, anyone who re-tweeted or shared our information, everyone who watched the stream, and most importantly thank you to those who pulled some cash out of paypal or their credit cards to donate.
