Would it be possible to include an "all shards" option on the Character Search in MyUO? When I make a new character, I want its name to be unique across the game, and its pretty tedious to check each shard individually. Pretty please? ^_^

Won't really matter, I tried that with one character and checked all shards. With-in 6 months there was a copy-cat name. Now there are dozens of them.

The website only catalogues characters logged in within the last 30 days. It's possible some of those were older than yours.

the Search MYUO has been busted for years. You're more likely to win the lotto than get useful accurate information from that. Sad to say but it's true...

Possibly, maybe a few also everytime I looked they were much less developed characters or new characters. Although I didn't start playing until a few years after this game went online it was quite a long time ago and going from none on any shards to a 5-dozen on several shards. I would say it is unlikely to keep a unique name, unless the name is protected by UO or some really off the wall thing, someone else is going to think of it or copy it .
