A question on Upgrading to the Ultima Online: Mondain's Legacy Expansion.

I purchased the Ultima Online: Samurai Empire Digital download with 45 free days.

I mistakenly believed this was the all inclusive set.

Anywho the question is, if I buy the Ultima Online: Mondain's Legacy Upgrade key (*Sigh* why is it a Upgrade+new account key?) and upgrade both (well now might as well obsolete one of the previous accounts, or perhaps the new Mondain?) will I loose the 45 free days?

While I am at it, although I probably wont do this, I may need to. How would I go about upgrading to the Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn client? I have done every type of search I could think of but could find nothing that gave me a straight forward, plain English procedure. I am kind of leaning towards assuming that I need to do some download (the 14 day free trial?) and install it. I assume it will ... some how find the Current UO directory and doe something useful to that directory that will not take away my ability to use the 2D client.

Why I even bother is that switching from full screen to window mode cause Device Reset errors in other programs, should they be running.

Oh and if I picked the wrong forum, then I apologize. I made the best guess I could.

Upgrading to ML will not interfere with your existing trial.
If you can find a 9th anniversary box anywhere, it includes ML for less than the cost of the upgrade code alone. (*shrugs*)

For KR, I would suggest this page as a jumping off point for finding a download (just a warning: it is very large and will take a long time to patch the first time you start it up after installing). It will not (to the best of my knowledge) touch the 2D client install at all, so it can be tried without danger.

Now you have an upgrade code, and a new account creation code. Sorry to hear you bought the wrong set.


Just use the upgrade code on your existing account and save that other new account code for somethin else.

I do actually want two upgrades as I am going to 2 box. If I proceed with the Mondain's Legacy Upgrade I get more or less what I want I just end up with an extra account. I did a google on the 9th anniversary and the cheapest I could find was $19.99US the Mondains Legacy Upgrade is $29.99 US so ..... it is really a matter of choosing to forfeit one of the existing accounts, no biggie as I have not done anything with one of them so far anyway, but it would appear that I would lose the 45 free days that came with the Digital Download key OR it is not intuitively obvious that I could salvage that account by using the Key on it. Said more simply dont create a new account, if that is possible given the key type.

If you have any computer stores in your area, you might want to check their bargain bins before buying online.

Well went to get the Upgrade codes from uogamecodes.com and was told .... My account is to new. That I must wait until the accounts are least 30 days.

While this probably works to my advantage as I will get yet another 30 days free, it is rather counter intuitive of UO to take this stance
