A question about the new UO Vendor Search

How often does the vendor search re-search. Is every vendor on the shard included in the search? I am about to put up some vendors on Atlantic, in a rather out-of-the-way location. Thanks for any response(s)!

We have no information on when the system will be active on live shards. Currently it is only in testing on TC 1
