I find the obsession flattering Pet, but you didn't need to post on my behalf I had every intention of coming to say goodbye to friends who I shall miss. You certainly did not need to go to the effort of accessing a guild only section of our forums or ICQing me within seconds of me posting the bulliten...but as I said your obsession is flattering and I am glad I have that much affect on your UO enjoyment.
That aside its totally true I am leaving the land of UO, and it has nothing to do with the guild or anyone in or out of the guild it actually has nothing to do with UO at all except I just have the desire to enjoy other things.
I don't have a new game so its not like UO has been replaced that way, its just life is good for me and full of other things. I have fun with my family, friends and other hobbies and just want to spend more time with them doing those things. And with my other hobbies and an increased work load, sadly I do not have time for all of them and UO.
UO was being neglected by my choice, and I think it was the school holidays the last time I logged in and I can not rationalize paying for something I simply do not use or have any desire to use at this point in time. So it was simply time to move on and leave on a positive note and hand the guild to those I know will keep it going strong. Rather then have them waiting for me to return or having to relay on me for anything.
I want to thank everyone who has had a positive impact on me and my guild (you know who you are), I have made many friends over the years and you will be missed but your memories treasured.
I am not saying I will never return as I do not know what the future holds but at this point in time its a long way off.
So take care of each other be good to each other and keep having fun.
And with that....this is me saying Goodbye.
