*A raven delivers a rolled up parchment to Dramora wherever she may be*

I hope this message finds you and your sister well. I would like to meet to discuss the charges that governor Gillian Gryphon was persuing against Merek Penrose before her departure from office as soon as possible. Please let me know a convenient time and place to meet with you.

Signed,

Cas, Governor of Yew

Dramora opened her eyes to a new day.

The night passed pleasantly. Her new home was very quiet, and very conducive to a nice night’s sleep.

She had met Judas at the Salty Dog in Britain the previous evening. It has been some time since she had seen him and she was looking forward to it. However, the Judas she met last night was not the one she had known previously. This one appeared preoccupied, tired…possibly even depressed.

Dramora had always admired the bard for his carefree, fun personality; a trait she thought she could use more of. She tried not to let her concern show as he talked of Faeryl and the demon they unwittingly summoned when they cured her of blackrock fever.

Her concern was less for Faeryl and more for Judas.

Trouble seemed to follow Faeryl, and unfortunately, Judas seemed less inclined to leave the elf to her fate, than to follow her into whatever abyss she seemed to be heading for. Dramora made sure Judas knew that she would be available whenever he needed her, however, she was pretty certain that call would never come.

Sighing quietly, she jumped out of bed and threw open the doors to her balcony; it looked to be a beautiful day, and she was anxious to head out to do her errands.

Stopping short, she was startled to see the raven perched on her balcony railing, rolled parchment clutched in its talon. No one knew where she was, how could this bird have found her?

Stepping cautiously to the bird, she took the note and tried to shoo the bird away, but it stayed fast, apparently awaiting an answer.

Cas? Who was that?

Dramora had no idea who this person was who called herself the new Governor of Yew.

Curiosity got the better of her, so she penned a quick response…

Governor Cas,

I would be delighted to meet with you to discuss the charges against Merek Penrose.

Shall we say, the Blue Boar in Britain, Saturday evening 7:00 PM?

Tying the parchment to the bird’s leg, she watched as it took flight back to its owner.

Giving a mental shrug, she moved on with her errands.
