A little request for 11th year vets..

It was talked about a little at the Seattle meeting..

Let us have 2 house's per account for an 11yr reward.
If you have been with a company for or game for this long. It would be nice to get something special like this...

Nope, the shard doesn't need to get filled up with housing of players who don't play here or by people who already have houses on the shard. I like the open spaces, it's incentive for players to actually move here...la

I second ricos statement and honestly I believe that the majority of siege would agree. trammel shards have next to none when it comes to house spots. where as siege has like 95% of all the land possible for houses on all facets still open for house spots. Why fill them up with people who dont even play on the shard. It will cause lag horrible lag. and then we will loose our joy of getting bored with one house spot and moving lol.

What does it matter to me if it doesn't affect my shard? If the productions wanted the chance, why would I really care? So yeah, not in my backyard, does fit in this situation.

I would have to agree with Rico on this. You can call me stupid, but I recently collapsed my little shop on Seige (I had a house on Seige and Pacific) because I hardly ever play that shard and didn't want to take up a spot that someone else could use.

I would really love to have 2 houses on Pacific again. It would let me add to the player run town I am building.

*wishes I would have never gotten rid of my other two houses, I would still have 3 on Pacific*

I would think it would be less of an issue on SP since it's less populated, compared to the rest of the shards.

Just an observation, but it's interesting how when it affects you and your shard you dont want it, but when we don't want something on our shard like theives you are all for it and say we should have no say in it.

I would be ok with a second house per account, but maybe if they made it to where one would have to be in Fel and one in Tram.

i love the idea i just made an idea that is very simular to this before reading this about giving us house boats i would be happy with either house boats or a second house per account or both.

How about opening up the unused Malas plots for 11-yr vets only...i'm still waiting on a plot to open up for a keep, something i used to have back in '98 when I bought a plot for 250k! Had to quit for a few years, came back and still in my 7x7 for the last 7 years now with no desire to have anything other than my old house plot

This is a good example of what a vet reward should be. Something that is a status symbol without affecting the overall balance of the game.

When vet rewards are more than just vanity items, and give significant advantages in gameplay, that discourages newer players from playing. For one, not many people are willing to subscribe for multiple years in order to remove what is essentially a handicap on their game.

And also, once a trend is established where only the oldest vets get a game-imbalancing item or property, new players can never hope to catch up. By the time a current new player would get to use an 11th year reward, the current 11-year vets will have the advantages of the 12th through 22nd year rewards.

I sorta like the idea. But not for only vets. Should be for everyone. So just because you played so long your special? Not to me. Everyone is equal. IMO every player should beable to get anything any other player can get. That my friends is called balance.
