Welcome back. As you can see, a lot has changed over the years.
The guild deed/stone system has been changed. If you are using the original classic client, then you can access the guild menu on either the main menu bar at the top of the screen, or one of the option buttons on the paper-doll... Sorry - it's been too long since I played that client to remember for certain. If you are using the new Enhanced Client, then on the main hot bar, you will find a button that lets you access the new guild menus.
The Commodity Deed boxes are 1st year veteran rewards. If you have choices available, a gump should appear when you log in that you can pick a reward from (assuming you have not turned off the gump auto-run with UO-Assist.
As to arties... it depends on what you are looking for... Marties spawn on paragon monsters in Ilshenar. Doom Arties are found in the Doom Gauntlet. Replica Arties are obtained from killing champ-spawn bosses, or from killing mini-champ spawn bosses in the Stygian Abyss. Others are Peerless Monster drops, etc.
