A good way to earn some gold on Siege

(Player Event) - [Mar 4, 2017] DEAL or NO DEAL & MORE!! (Chesapeake)

Every Saturday Deal no Deal is hosted across a different shard. This Saturday it's on Chesapeake, door prizes are 1 million gold, that is 100k on Siege as they pay 10% here. If you lucky to win big you can get a few million here on Siege. The game only runs for one hour and you must be present to win so no filling out a book and taking off if your name is called you must let them know you are there and the shard you like payment on.

You listen to the game live at UORadio.com. I plan on being there, and if you check the image they posted you can see this is an easy one to get there, straight out the west gate of Umbra. 6pm CT.

just make a new character on that shard and go there...

Ya, your winnings on that shard will be paid here by UORadio.com folks. I normally meet them at the Umbra bank after the game if I won any gold. Just take any char you have there, get a book off the steward, fill out the left page where it says name/shard/guess. The name of the char that is on that shard now, the shard where you want the gold, and the guess for the very last box. (note): if you are lucky with the guess last box that a cool million gold on Siege, 10% of 10 million.

Was a fun event! We made it over 50 listeners on the air, which was nice i think. Imagine going to an event in real life where 50 other people were, all talking about Ultima Online. Makes me smile. I will try to attend these from now on

I look at it this way, I am getting free gold to listen to an in-game event of UO players, I just do the same thing I do when watching/listening to the tv commercials, ignore them. I not there to buy something from the site, I am there to have fun, toss snowballs at Norman etc.. "Red Gates for Norman, Boo Hiss!!"

So let not rain on the parade, come play have fun and get free gold to the shard of your choice. It's only for one hour every Saturday, across several shards. Besides if someone from Siege was to win the 200 million that is 20 million on Siege.

For the record, I was under the impression that EA has kept absolutely silent on where they stand as far as selling in-game items outside the game. This has always made UO unique in the MMO industry.

Has this changed?

Quick question , it was mentioned above 200 mill would be 20 Mil on Siege, why is that? I know inflation as far as price of items is cheaper but on the other hand buying from NPC shop owners like ships, boats, many good are far more expensive than on production.Also its.alot harder to keep a good set of armor or weapons as well compared to productions shards. Like I said just trying to understand

@Tectop Nost likely due to not being able to transfer gold to Siege. So any gold they give away here they have to earn just as we do. Every day sales of Gate scrolls, LRC suits, spellbooks etc. So it's a lot harder to earn gold here.
