In both real and fantasy worlds, endings are inevitable. Accordingly, Icky Rotblossom's role in UO is now over, and she has left the building.

Although Icky will most likely not return, I'll be hanging around Stratics and keeping an eye on you guys and gals, as well as checking for any sign of that elusive gypsy wagon I've long wished for. I realize it's probably futile to hope, but should it ever become an option in UO... well, who knows... I might quietly wander back, slip through a moongate, and travel the roads of our beloved Chesapeake one more time.

For now, I'll just say, "Take care and keep having fun! Love you all!"

For anyone interested, this is just a status update regarding Icky (and me):

Although I had initially planned to close my account, I ended up deciding to wait for the new expansion, just to be safe and make sure I would not have to pay to upgrade if I should decide to become active again in the future.

Recently, I got cold feet and dropped a 7x7 classic flagstone house not far from where the original Pitmuck Deli once stood. It is set up as a tiny vegetarian kitchen. Icky is rarely at home, but she does keep a few food items on a vendor, just for old times sake.

I have given up predicting anything for the time being, although I've burned out and haven't felt like playing for quite a while. Maybe a UO miracle might happen to renew my old enthusiasm. Food may suddenly become far more important, making chefs truly relevant perhaps? A useable gypsy wagon may suddenly become available for traveling players some wonderful day? Nah... I guess not. But for now, Icky and I are still residing on Pitmuck -- although most of the time we are both effectively asleep, occasionally dreaming of things we no longer expect to see in our lifetimes.
