[Price Check] A gnarled staff (practice weapon)

I know alot of people say they have the full set of practice weapons, but I don't think many people are aware of this one (or maybe they are)

Do alot of people have these with their full set....I beleive this was given when you had Item Identification as a starting skill way back when you could get practice weapons.


Any details would be appreciated.

It seems to be common knowledge they are in the set, yet i dont think they are one of the more common to find for sale. I not entirely sure but i doubt that many started with item id on their skills. So i guess price wise they are a bitmore than 50 to 100k which is what the majority sell the common ones at and less than the 2 to 3 mills the battle axe sells for.

That's fine, I'm just looking more towards the rarity, when I see full sets for sale, I see a lot of them with the battle axe, but without the staff.

If anyone else has one, let me know, just curious to see how many are left out there. Don't see them very often.

Are you sure it was the "battle Axe" and not the hatchet?

yes indeed, hence why I was wondering about staff. I've seen three sets full with axe but not staff in the past couple of months.

I have been away for a cpl yrs and need a refresher... can someone post the complete "practice weapon" list in order of rarity ? i tried a search but my GM search skill has atrophied a bit.

1.Rarest = Battle axe
2. Skinning Knife
3.Gnarled staff
4 All others = spear / hatchet / long sword / mace / bow / crook

I think it is a set of 9 items however i cant help but feel i have possibly missed 1

I would like to state this is howi feel the list is in order of rarity. As i too could not find a definate post so i have based it on what i have seen in collections and on vendors along with personal knowledge.
