A GM came, promptly!

I just paged a GM and one showed up in about seven minutes! They couldn't fix my problem*, but at least they actually showed up and tried!

*I went to fight Corgul, killed all of his minions and when I went to find him he wasn't on the island. He must have seen me coming and jumped in the water to swim for his life.

Yes! They generally will if they are on and not already helping other players.

I don't recall exactly but I am thinking it may take a couple minutes for him to spawn. I could be wrong on that though. In either case it sounds like you spent some time killing the minions and by that time he should have been there.

I don't often have a need for paging a GM but the last time I remember one showing up in a reasonable amount of time and trying to help was probably ten years ago, so this was a pleasant suprise. I figure credit where credit's due.

When the island is getting ready to despawn within fifteen or twenty minutes. Corgul will vanish but the minions will stay only thing to do is wait for the island respawn get a new map and sail to the new location.

True enough, although of course the Advisors are 'new' and I understand there has been a slight increase in the numbers of GMs, so some improvement would be expected - but the improvements are all very welcome.

Sadly though I've found they can far too often only sympathise with the issue causing people to page them. Whilst they are really good (especially the Advisors) at explaining answers to some game issues, or clarifying how things work to people running into changed or recently introduced systems for the first time, for the stuff I think is more important - the abuse of systems or players, or outright cheating, or the nastier methods of spoiling the game for others - not impressed with the GMs and support generally......

So they arrived in super fast time but didn't fix the problem? Was it an actual GM or an advisor?

I've had to call Advisor's and sure enough they do arrive very promptly but they haven't ever managed to fix my issues. Couple of times I have popped a spawn and it didn't start, arrived at Cora and shes not there, stuff like that. The advisor tells me they have informed a GM but guess what, the problems still seem to occur.

Someone paged an advisor the other night in despise.....it was hilarious watching him show up and die to lvl 3 spawn. Then everyone down there got a msg saying.....if you need help please leave this dungeon area and page me again....I am unable to help you here!.....lol

I paged one the other day for one of the "Lost" items that was out of reach... Spent probably 15 min trying to get it myself before paging... wish that spawn spot could be deleted or fixed... but eventually after I had paged I managed to try getting off a boat and it put me right on top of the item in questing (note: this was somewhere off the coasts near Trinsic)... I figured the GM wasn't coming anytime in my lifetime so I went on about my business but eventually he caught up with me(within I'd say 15 min of my page)... which I had a great laugh about. He *panted*... after trying to catch me as I was scanning the coastlines at warp speed for "lost" items. We talked about the problem I explained I was sorry I had paged him in frustration but I did eventually get the item in question... though the spot still sucks for the getting of that item and does need fixed... we laughed about him trying to catch up to me... I wished him a good day and off he went. I only wished that "canceling" the page actually canceled pages.

No cause he's not alone. Though perhaps in mentioning it .... he might have saved it. But had he NOT mentioned it I'm sure someone else might have not had the strength to refrain... and the post would have gotten jacked.
