Hello!
As many of you know, I collect a fun little item called "A Candle Blessed By Love for...". It is a small white candle that uses the same graphic as the candle that appears in your pack when you began your adventures here, in Sosaria. The flame is not animated however *sad face*. There where a series of quests you could take, each one giving you an item you would need at the last one to complete the task, and claim a Candle with your characters name on it. Many completed this series of adventures, and some even took it a step farther and using a name change token, finished the quest and produced some of them most amazing and some times hilarious names!
You will no longer find these quests available in modern day UO, but these little white candles serve as a reminder for those of us, a remembrance of those who walked before us and along side us. I have been collecting them now for almost 2 years and my collection has grown in leaps and bounds since that time. It was the amazing community here and in game that really helped me obtain the candles so that I can display them in my museum in Toad Town, north of Luna on the Atlantic shard. I would love for you all to come and see them, if you haven't already!
To this date, I have 138 of these candles! Here are a few of my favorites:

-The Real Man
-Caramon Majere (HUGE Dragonlance fan right here!)
-Girl Next Door
I am using this thread as a platform to both display and advertise that I buy these Candles and then cherish and display them for all to see. Next time you're in the neighborhood, come by and look around!
I want to thank a dear friend who no longer plays, his name is Caveat Emptor. He spurred me to begin this collection, and contacted me weekly with more Candles he'd found while out and about. Thank you friend! We all miss seeing your smiling face!
