No.better an unlimited character slots.
Every time you buy the token 1 slot will be added without limitation and every 7 slots you can build a new house so we can avoid to have 10 accounts
it was a joke....
I couldn't imagine what shops could do with all their money.... thousands of characters and houses :O
They will take every house spot available in all shards and became the only house sellers available :O

I'd like some more slots for sure. Switching templates, gear, and skills out with dozens of soulstones gets tedious.
Already I'm sure a lot of people have a good 10 characters worth of skills sitting on stones... My only problem would be to make sure that new characters get a PBD

Well i want more character slots, people making characters is good for the economy in game, I dont see why any would oppose more character slots.

Babble is absolutley right. For EA/Mythic Bioware to keep sucking money out of the community they would have to charge for another char slot. It's easier to just continue to make you open more accounts. This saves the company man power and time which makes more $$$$$ for them.

and no matter how many character slots you give people there will always be those that sit on their reds in general chat whining about not being able to participate in events.

Before the invention of soul stones I would have been all over an 8th char.
Back then I just didn't have enough guys to do everything that I wanted to do.
Now with the aid of those lovely stones, 95% of the time I only use four of my seven chars.
Right now I would prefer extra stable slots or containers' item count max upped to 150 items rather than 125

Pinco might be on to something.... but with a twist.
We all know that some shards have extreemly low populations, I can name off 3 right now I have a few doz characters on that now are so barren even at the peek hours for those shards.
Granted there are some houses and I suspect many are grandfathered to players who have gone to more workable shards they have other homes on.
Do not underestamate EA/Mythic, if push came to shove the least used will be first to go.
The good point is it is not costing much to keep those shards open even with the super low populations.
The Servers that run UO have long been paid for and the operational repairs small .... so far.
Making the character selection page into pages for not only 6 - 7 - 8 slots, but for as many as you need if this arises.
It's only common sense to think ahead.
I'd have personaly move quite a few of my characters to one shard had I the room on my list for them.
It's an idea that has some merit.
