705 skill Disco Tamer??

I've had a tamer half built for a long time now.

I'd love some input on finishing up this template and help with suits.

I have not really played this tamer or any like it. My uses would be for champs, peerless and if it holds true, to hunt stuff with a luck suit.

I have never used a luck suit. People keep saying I will get decent drops from blood elementals etc with luck. Everyone has their own opinion of "good" so maybe this idea wont last.

In the end I guess I'll build 2 suits.

ATM my char looks like this :

110.2 Animal Lore
110 music
108.9 disco
104.5 magery
100 med
86 VET
81.7 Taming

So lets assume I'll eat any 120 scrolls I need.

Folks playing this template, can you tell me how to set this up?

I have access to most major arties and have some cash to buy and or craft my own armor pieces.

I do not however, have enough coin to go out and buy 50 to 200 mil jewels.

Questions I have are. How important is magery/med in this setup. Does 80 magery work with mostly greater heals/cure for pet?

Do i need 40 LMC?

Any feedback, or suggested links would be great in helping me out.

A few luck items i Have are jester hat, spell book with 80 luck, museum shield

I'm at a point where I need to decide how to finish training my skills and I'd like experienced points of view.

Thanks for your time

I don't run a disco-tamer myself, but I hunt often with a disco-tamer.

Her template is 120 taming/lore/vet/music/discord/magery.

That template needs to use a high MR suit and a high LMC suit (which she doesn't have, very annoying when I get myself dead and have to wait for her mana). But it makes up in damage done what it doesn't have in mana regeneration. The thing is that you'll definitely need 120 discord and musicianship if you want to hung the big dogs. If you add in 110 taming and lore (99% control of greater dragons) and 110 magery (100% 7th circle spells), that leaves you with 135 points to split between vet (min 90, more is better) and another skill. The last 45 can go into focus (no stamina loss when running), meditation (better results from your MR suit) or chivalry (remove curse, 80% success rate.

Then the idea is to kill creatures faster than you run out of mana. Alone, she only has trouble with necromantic opponents (Dark Father, for example) who wither or opponents with a nasty area effect and a lot of hit points (Abscess, for example). In a group, she's practically unstoppable.

My favorite combination when hunting with her is using her discord, her greater dragon, and my rune beetle/bake combination. Armor corrupt + discord = dead anything, and I handle the lion's share of the healing duties.

I also run a disco tamer who is similar to farsights friend and your own build except 1 or 2 things. My first question is this.....Why bother having magery so high? Neither has eval so no damage dealing spells will be cast, just heals from a distance....which is what vet is for. I run with (After + skill items) 120 in taming, lore, disco, music, and peace. 110 in vet. 69 magery. I have an alchamist bauble and a crystaline right to bring my magery to 99 for gates and ressing. So without high magery you can toss out meditation also. I believe the addition of peace far outweights meditation. Other than the above mentioned area damage things like Abscess, the template is rediculously powerful.
