mempos are weird

Wife and I have this UO superstition that certain things drop more readily on certain days. Back in TOT1, we'd have what we called nuchaku days, or flute of renewal days. Each day, we'd get a disproportionately large amount of a certain martie compared to usual.
Of course, it could be a streaky rng, or just our minds trying to recognize a pattern where there's none. But no harm trying

well they did say it would be more rare than the other drops so how much more? 1/1000? or prob roll a 999 from 0-999

639 drops????? Wow! I've gotten a grand total of 69 drops. I did get 1 mempo in those 69.

Hard to be lucky on second drop for Mempo, thus after mine finally fell my Tokuno sorties have stopped.Congrats!

No sense in trying to get more, for instance in full display at my shard in Balhae an enterprising vendor shop has about 15 Mempos on his doorstep to show off it's at the NE side of luna for those who might fancy seeing them.
Now how lucky can this fella get huh? Hard for me to believe it's all the luck of the roll hehe. These minors/majors will be flooding the market soon so why waste time on the Tokuno event eh? Might as well learn a new skill which will be well worth your time.
And oh nothing beats the old neon pigments if you ask me.

The original Smurf on Atlantic was Reagent Smurf. 11 years ago we didn't have a house. We lived in LB's Castle in the secret room inside. One of the first town attacks allowed them to kill the vendors. We were mainly bad mages back then, but we had to have reagents. So, Reagent was created to stand in the Castle and hold thousands and thousands of reagents. We have almost a dozen Smurfs now.

Finally got my mempo around drop # 520. I dont think i can ever do a grind like that again... lol
i'm with you on that one connor. i have about 230 drops and no mempo, after 3 weeks of grinding for about 4 hours a day after work. it's getting depressing! but it's still fun. i just don't think i'll be able to get more than another hundred drops before the event ends, so i'm realizing the odds aren't great that i'll get a mempo.

Don't base future expectations of past experiences! You could end up being lucky like some people and get one after 50 drops.
Well I guess in your case it would be 50 'more" drops but hey it could happen!Edit: I realize that people have obviously been working for this way to much....lol....I have maybe, 200 drops total across the shards I have tried to get it on, of course that is 2 people playing....so I guess I have about 2/3 that many. >.>

I hate to even post this, as I KNOW the frustration people feel with the RNG (I cant get a replica drop to save my life!)
But I had 2 mempo drop back to back the other day, which brings my total to 3. Yes.. all attended!
