I have horrible luck at events... If that painting hadn't been a vending style drop, I doubt I'd have gotten one! lol

All but two of the items I've gotten myself have been vending style drops. It kind of gets disheartening after awhile... But alas, I'll keep trying!

There are a few new-comers that does x-shards and there are also some shard specific goers like Lykor and Woody (Catskills), Yible (Atlantic), Wolfie (Sonoma), Smokey (LS), Hon (Napa), Euro Trader (Europa), Pfloyd (Pacific) etc. but for the most part the ones on top pretty much in some ways control the rares market.

There is nothing good or bad about it its just the way it is. Rewards always goes to those with the most efforts.

and its pretty simple as to why those of us on that list have a tendency of getting a lot of the event items, its because we make the effort to attend pretty much all of the events. i check the em webpages daily and if im available to attend an event im normally there. i have xsharded different completed characters from my home shard of LA to a large majority of the other shards just to attend those events. Put in the effort and u will get rewarded for it.

I make the effort to attend almost all of Atlantic's events... And I still have almost nothing to show for it! lol

atlantic events are the hardest to get items from because there are a ridiculous amount of people at them. i got lucky and got my stack of ingots on atl from a revert corpse that was stuck up on a platform that nobody else was near, i dont believe many of the people knew how to get up there or were just too busy fighting a slasher, who knows

I agree with you completely and do pretty much the same. For me, it took close to three years to get chars done and suited. (Just finished up the asian shards a couple weeks back.)

I use mages personally, however I see melees raking it in just the same. All depends on your playstyle. The most important part is not to skimp on damage. (IE: full barrage of weps with max DI on suits or spellbooks with heavy SDI on suits.)

I do very well on Atlantic looting items. Also do pretty well on Chesapeake.

Maybe someday ill start attending other shard events like I used to..

Since no one bit let me elaborate, that is when the loot programs are not working. That is when everyone has a fair shake and you also notice the lag isn't half as bad. Not pointing fingers at anyone here it is just my opinion.
