$500 starting out stake

When I created my first EALand sim, he received $500 to start out with.

When I created an EALand sim on a separate account (yesterday) and my wife created sims on two separate accounts, none of them received the $500 starting out cash.

What's strange is that my "new" sim received the $500 "bonus" even though he's only 1 day old...(but no "starting out money).

Is this right? I don't want to be picky about 500 clams, but since money is so tight... I figured that EA would at least be consistent in how it treats sims, new or otherwise...

None of the 3 sims I created in EALand over the last few days got the $500 startup money either.

With object payouts so low, and property prices so high I will be drawing my sim pension before I get a little place of my own lol.

The startup money was only given for when EA Land first opened. Since there is no waiting 7 day waiting period to delete a sim anymore after you just delete a sim, if they didn't remove that people would sit there all day creating and deleting sims on another account, handing the 500 startup money over to their main sim and get rich quick that way.

Before you could create and delete every 7 days in a city
and hand over the 10K to your main sim

Now it's create a sim with nothing, but every week he/she exists... gets paid bonus money (only first sim on each account in EA Land).
