Just spent the last 45mins trying to kill a turkey.. get him to about 1/4 life and *poof* hes completely gone. I've searched the whole entire area and cant find it any where. Wth???

I would like to know the same thing. I thought they were only in Tram/Fel but, from the looks of that pic it's failry paragon golden lol.

Oh and I had one go poof on Fire Isle where I had my GD on one. (I was dragging them to the entrance to the Underworld and running inside while my GD was killing it. Good way to avoid death lol). I came out to check the health status (more for my GD's lol) and I was out there for 2 seconds and poof, gone. Never to be seen again. Now I just use a Bard I made last week since Barding Difficulty is 12. Only had one go poof once.

Has to be an answer from someone and would be nice if they fixed it.

Probably poofed to it's original location, don't lure it too far away next time.

Thanks for the advice.. only problem is I didnt lure it anywhere. I was just north of the Hag spot and here were probably 5 or 6 of them wondering around, I picked one and started killing it. Didnt take it anywhere. I checked that whole area when it disappeared and nothing.
Only thing I can think of in that sense is that maybe someone else lured them to that spot =/

if that is a paragon one then perhaps he got it by provoking the mears mage to summon animals to with that spell the mears mage has and a turkey came when summoned?

Ouch! Ok I ran around, couldn't find any near the valor dragons/greater dragons, did a bit around the spirituality champ spawn and nada, then found one near the meer village (north of it). It was killing a pixie, and then it attacked me! So crazy! I must have gotten hit by its aoe when I ran up and didn't notice.

I saw a paragon wild turkey at Ilsh near Spirituality last night. No people around so I assume it wasn't lured or summoned.

I had one go poof too couple days ago - only one that has so I guess you were just unlucky with that one. Doesnt seem to be a major problem.

Ive had 2 poof on me. one after about 2 hours into it and 1/2 of its health gone and the other about 30 or so mins into it with about 1/4 health gone.

I'm going to guess and like any other creature in game, it stays around for just so long. Once it hits the time for a new spawn, it just goes poof. I have been in Doom & other places just stealthing & watched many monsters & NPC's just go poof.

Just part of the system hehe . Sometimes better to hunt during primetime or morning hours because if you hunt late at night you might suffer a reset.
