Considering weve been collecting BR for months and months you could have at least run the "Event" for more than 2 minutes, or at least come back and repeat the thing over again. If the time has been posted for at least a week I apoligize, otherwise this seems real cheap.

In fact, the last "event" for Valentine's Day was pretty much crap too.

I don't come into UHaul anymore cause it is mostly people complaining about stupid stuff that means nothing.

"Stupid stuff that means nothing" is becoming the wikipedia definition of UO events, so I figure this is the right place to post this.

I have taken a wait and see attitude with everything you developers have served up since publish 16. I have told countless friends, "wait and give it a chance", only to see them leave and give me their accounts.

It is becoming like waiting for George Bush to actually complete a sentence with multiple syllables only to hear the English language mangled once again.

I have got to say this - we looked forward to having an event after work and for the week end, my wife an I.

What a disappointment.

But we should keep in mind that they had to do events on multiple shards and this is probably the best way they could have done it without event moderators to help them. I just wish I had not missed it by little bit too.

So what we get out of this depends upon whether we made it to today's five-second BS "event" and what we did or didn't do with some items that you dropped into the game like a year ago and then basically ignored. Great.

I know you think this is a big pen-and-paper game and that you're a really clever DM, but the fact of the matter all you're doing is telling 99% of your customers that "Sorry, this isn't really for you!"

There hasn't been a good event since the Ophidian invasion. Running around Magincia and seeing it empty for the first 98% of the "event" and then being screamed at with "DONT KILL THE MONSTER I WANT RUBBLE" for the last 2% was BS.

I went to bed last night fuming but over night I realized that in the time I've been playing there were many events I did not or could not attend (usually due to scheduling and lag issues). I'll just add this to the list and move on. So I was 5 minutes late and missed it, there will be other events hopefully that I'll be able to make in the future.

For tonight, since I'm excluded from the best part of the event (yes, I know I could still watch the lucky ones get their rewards, but no thanks!) I called my brother in law and him and his kids are going to come out for a little rock band/guitar hero impromptu party. I hope everyone who was on for those 2 minutes last night has fun, congrats for winning the event.

After checking everything, I am fairly sure they were 'over-emphasizing' for roleplay purposes the 'wonderful gains' you will get. May get a stat buff of some type that is temporatily, a hp buff, hp/mana regen, etc. I doubt they will be turning you eventually into a uber-dragon stat/hp 90 all resist killing machine (hyperbole) but for 'role-play' purposes I sure had gotten the impression he meant you will get some serious serious buffs if you were there the first day. In retrospect, probably not. For a while I was remembering being like the second one on the shard to have a vorpal blade after fighting my butt off for like 60 hours then a week later seeing them rain from the sky like candy. Well, if that happened to me, why don't I eventually also get these super buffs too? Answer, they aren't super buffs. I am fairly sure. Imagine the screams.
