Oh well, at least pet prices plunged a bit. Although Im sure taht wont last for too long.

what good is 31% discount when you cant make the money to afford the item, pizza machines at $17,000. a dog costs $7500, were making $10 for a painting, do the math it doesnt add up.

discount has now been adjusted to 45%. If luc said 48% why isnt it 48%.The whole thing is a damn joke anyway
edit- I just spoke to Luc in game, he said basically if you have enough on one type of item out , you can get up to 63% discount. But this clearly isnt happening. I have just given him an example, in my Furniture store i sell only furniture. on one example I have 20 Manchester chairs out, but my max discount is 45%, NOT 63% or anything higher than 45%.
Now, if they sort this out so it works properly, this is actually really good news because it will at last encourage more specialised stores to open up, which is just how it should be

As someone who has long ago gotten tired of the one-size-fits-all big-box stores, here's to hoping that they get this issue ironed out. I, too, would love to see more specialty stores.

If the game was going toward an auction block style of gaining inventory (for stores), then why mess with the discount thing... I guess this has to do with the auction system? Interesting...

Is this supposed to mean that you won't need multiples of the same item out for the discount to work? Just multiple items from the same category?
