[Magery] 2Questions

1) What is the minimum skill to be able to cast ressurection? With scroll and Without.

2)What is the maximum skill you can obtain through items? So far i have 65, am i missing any?

1. no idea, back in the day it was 60, but you wouldn't succeed much. From what I hear, that changed when power scrolls were implemented.

2. ring: +20, brace +15, Tome of lost knowledge +15

I can't remember where your other 15 comes from, so I think you have it.

The other 15 was 10from mark and 5 from tali.

Thanks for your help, though. I was hoping to be able to use scrolls to res with no skill investment as such. Looks like i might JUST be able to get away with it.

What ring has +20 magery please? I'm not totally familiar with mods on non-standard items.

Crystalline ring = +20 magery

Resurrection being an 8th circle scroll would require you to have 6th circle skill for casting from a scroll, this works out to being about 52 skill in magery for that 0.1pct chance to cast it, or 72 magery to cast it from a scroll at 50% of the time. At 65 magery you would have about a 33% chance to cast Resurrection from a scroll (tho I am unsure if you need to have real skill or not for this math to work.)

RichDC -- Cloak & Dagger's math is right and there is no reason you can't rez with a scroll at 65 magery. But I've got to ask what sort of char are you trying to fit this onto? You're seriously handicapping yourself by tying up your ring, brace, tali, and helm with those items. If you're a warrior you might as well rez via chivalry or healing. 65 chiv and a single +15 Chiv item and you can use Noble Sacrifice without too many fails. If your a spellcaster... we'll I'd like to hear your template sans magery. I suppose this could be for a magery-less tamer or a PvP ninja, but I'd personally be building the suit with different priorities then.

I think he plans on carrying those items in his pack, not normally wearing them.

This way should he need to res someone in the field he can equip the items and res, then go back to his normal suit.
