2nd house on Siege coming soon?

I remember before there was talk of possibility allowing players to own a house on siege and a house on a "normal" shard. Is there any progress with this?

I've made a char on Siege but not sure about placing a house yet because I don't know if I'll stick around. I was surprised your only allowed 1 char!
