Greetings!

After some delays caused by a few last-minute adjustments and coping with a few server setbacks, the time has come to officially announce the 2025 Live Auction schedule for the Toad Town Auction House!

There are a few new changes for 2025!

*New Location*





The Toad Town Live Auction house has relocated to be closer to the Toad Town monument.
This comes with a complete redecoration for the auction house! Transitioning from the classical tavern theme and moving towards a tree house design, expect new and exciting changes to the functionality of the new Live Auction House! ​

*New Operational Changes*

• Live Auctions are every Saturday at 3PM Eastern | Gates begin at 2
• Commission has increased from 5% to 7%
• Path to submit additional submissions past the five (5) item lot limit that is default
  (with an additional commission fee attached)
• Item or Item Lot Values Minimum is 100M
• Lottery will be chosen by a lucky dealer in game instead of a random number generator online

Honnestly auction saturday 3pm probably the worst time to do auction if you want more people to attend

I would recommend during the first 2 weeks of every month since that's the least amount of potentially conflicting with EM events. You don't need to hold it every week but instead once per month during a low traffic event week during evenings. I would also recommend you separate the event into 2 halves: 1st half: low end items i.e. 300 mil or less street value and second half high-end items 300 mil+. That way, once the preview is out, people can plan accordingly to attend. Just my opinion for potentially better

I would say if there are enough items to hold them each week then I would prefer they happen than not. 3PM Eastern on a Saturday shouldn't conflict with any EM events with the exception of possibly Europa, but those events happen on any day of the week, so the chance of conflict is low. I do agree with the ascending value order so people can manage their attendance timing better, but it's not that big of a deal if it's just another annoying thing for Alexander to do with the sorting and might screw up his standard method of managing whose items are whose.
