I can confirm multiple friends who have had them deleted. On the other hand, there are people that have had them for years. It's a take your own risk approach... they're usually not cheap.
Deleted? Never heard of that unless they where stuck in a container or backpack from an idoc. You mean that or something else?? Cuz that's news to me lol

I'm going to guess the box chopping method may have led to the ones I'm referring to being removed.
I've been around since the original gangster days of this game, so I'm aware of the mechanics or rather how they were created and further created, but much like those statues.
I used to own a portable forge that got deleted and they were received by the same mechanics as the statues.
I'm that old... I just didn't know whether the mechanics changed to get em purged, like forges, or if they were still in existence or could even be transferred.

Now I will say as far as rolling the dice goes depending on more information that may or may not flow into possible deletion scenarios that possibly have happened.
But it sounds like it might be easier just to try to find 2 on Great Lakes or ignore it LOL
But if memory serves some of those were originally popped off from moonglow bank. That's more of a thought than for any particular reason.

Dude there's 4 for sale right now on VS. They pop up all the time. They're all over the damn shard on people's front steps.
GM's have not cared about these in a long time.
Ones i'm thinking about came from idocs and weight 255 stones, stuck either in backpack when you got from barrel or went poof if you chopped the crate it was in. Might be some other weird bug he meant but yeah

By all means, not saying or implying it's 'delete on sight' or anything like that... but there are cases where they've been removed for one reason or another. Possibly due to illegal placement with the box chop method.
Ignoring the comment made about g m's not really caring about these things for years I also brought up the concern of transferring them off shard because that's essentially a gm hands-on where they might then care.

Hundreds of people do transfers every single day, I can't see any reason why you would specifically be chosen to have your pack snooped by a GM during the move.
Also (again) getting a GM to care about anything these days is a feat of it's own.
I get where you are coming from @TheMiner; things change over the years and what was once legal becomes normal (and even widely for sale). I was one of the first people to tame the old faction guard horses and had all of mine deleted because it was considered a bug back in the day.... now I see people every few days spamming they are selling a "1 slot nightmare anyone can ride".
My take is that if others are spamming / setting them for auction they are probably ok now (especially since I haven't heard about GMs being overly active in the past 4-5 years) but might be a good idea to email Kyronix since he's the new sheriff in town.
