Couple of Questions...

1. How do people get different colored rune stones marked to thier houses? I am able to mark runes inside my house and they come out a Light blue, but I see purple ones, dark green ones, red ones, ect... Just wondered if there was a way to change thier color?

2. I have read different place about people "breaking" different items in the game for deco purposes... such as ston tables and such. Basically anything that has seperate highlightable pieces to form one item. How is this done?

As to question 1, you can use a runebook dye tub. The tub is a 4th year vet reward I think.

You may be confused.

These broken items are rares, they aren't made they spawn or are part of a reward group. People collect them for housing decorations.

People that own houses can hit something with an ax to remove it from the house. Some house add-ons can become a deed so you can reuse them or if the item isn't rare it can be destroyed. But they don't become broken items.

i believe it is you who is confused kind sir...
there are items like stone tables and arcane circles that can be broken into parts using goza mats to raise and lower different sides of the item until it "breaks" into 2 or more parts. then you axe the part you don't want and lower the part you do want back to the floor. you can read all about it in the homes and castles forum
there's numerous "how to" guides and pictures.

Bman - the rune color also depends on where you live and where you mark runes. tokuno island runes are light blue, tram runes are light brown, fel runes are dark brown, malas runes are either black (if marked outside a house) or purple (if marked while standing inside a house). the rune book dye tubs let you dye the runes the same colors as you get from a leather dye tub, including red, green and blue.
