When you get a successful hit in with a splinter weapon the loose durability mega fast. Ideally you want decent mods on the weapon so imbuing is not needed. This way when the durability gets low you can simply use POF on it to repair. Hope this helps.

When it comes to a splinter weapon 20% Splintering or more, NO CURSES [Cannot be repaired, Cursed, Brittle] Hit spell is nice, Most valuable types are Butchers Knife & War Fork.

i would say its worth about 1-3 mil mil (damage increase saves it) most likely to be imbued to be a decent, but short lived weapon.
