12th Anniv Tickets not giving items.

On 3 seperate attempts, when I selected an item for the 12 anniv tickets, the ticket would disappear and the message would appear on botton of screen that an item has been placed in my pack. But, there is no item there. Characters are far from max weight and backpacks and bank boxes both checked.

I know items cant be replaced and already reported this, just curious if anyone else having the same issue?

Are you in the EC or the 2D client? If you're in EC, try switching to LIST mode on your backpack.

It comes in a colored bag, are you sure you checked every bag in your backpack?

As an example, most my characters have a runebook, bandies, spellbook and a backpack showing in the main pack (call me OCD but I like a organized pack, LOL). So wasnt much it could get hidden under, but I did move everything around and checked. Even shutdown game completely and restarted incase it was a graphic issue.

Im really not worried about the items, with these coming out at the same time the "Return to Brit" promo is going on, these will be dime a dozen for quite some time. I'm more concerned if its a bug, or just something local with my acct. Thanks for the help so far though, much appreciated.

You may not be properly patched. So the items are likely in your backpack but you simply do not see them.

A good way is to check the item count of your backpack. If it shows you have more items in your pack than what you can see, then you're just not properly patched.

Patched yesterday, and 4 out of 7 characters have received their items. Also, all items in backpack accounted for. Thank you again....although, telling me I got the uber-rare etheral bag would have been nice also :p

Same for me, 1 acct is getting them when another is not. :( I emptied my pack completely out, it is not there. This needs to be fixed. Now I'm nervous about logging anymore of my chars in on any acct.

I think I found the problem, at least for my acct. Gimme a minute and I'll post a pic of it.

The publish notes from September 24, 2007 when we received the 10th Anniversary gifts said the following:

All characters more than 30 days old will recieve some anniversary goodies in their backpacks or bank boxes. (Should you not have room to accept the goodies, you'll get a warning when you log in, and the gifts will be deposited on a following login.)

Its the character age not the account age, so if you only created that toon the it is too young :)

Your account is old enough. That specific character was created within the last 30 days though, yes?

While we can't see the actual count, if you use gridview, it's easy to see if you are full or not since there are 125 slots to scroll through, and if you hover over a container in your pack, you can see the count.

This is true, but with BoD books in backpack, etc.. this becomes overly complicated, and requires only a simple fix.

It is one thing to suggest workarounds.. but do not suggest that this is the new way of doing things with no improvement.

it´s to bad EC (in words ENGANCE CLIENT) backpack is TRASH
we need a change
usefull backpack,must be possible for professional programmers :sad2:

I only noticed one of my characters not getting a 12th anniversary ticket. It is one of my oldest characters, but I recently transferred her to a different shard. She has been on the new shard well over 30 days. It looks as if the gift distribution system didn't recognizing her though.

Has anyone else noticed this with one of their transferred characters?
