125 Strength requirement to use a SSI Kryss?

Ok I been gone for a few years and wanted to test the waters with the 14 day trial to see if I want to come back. I noticed that SSI weps have a strength requirement of 125. In the past I never took str that high. So why and when did this nerf go into effect?

It's one of the new loot system rolls. Cursed, brittle, antique, high str requirement...ect ect.

It's just luck of the draw what you get. It's not on every SS wep either.
